What to consider

Before signing on a locum doctor from Germany, there are a few things British clinics or practices should consider. Most of the paperwork concerning accreditation, working permit (not needed in the European Union) and registration will be left to the apllying doctor.

In order to provide an efficient service between the employer and future emplyee the clinic will need to inform us about the

  • speciality needed
  • level of experience/academic level required
  • period of time the locum doctor will be working
  • working conditions
    • working hours
    • holiday
    • salary

Additionally for us to to provide hospitals with the appropriate applicants, some information about

  • location of the hospital/GP practice/clinic
  • number of employees
  • approximate number of patients registered (if a substitute for a GP is needed)

will be of importance.
